Two Good Enough Catholic Girls

For nearly 20 years we have been searching far and wide for our roots.  We are cousins and forever friends.  Cemeteries, libraries, and back roads are our happy places.
We are researching many lines. Bisch, St. Vrain, Gregoire, Thornton, Bain, Tatem (Tatum), Norgrave, Armon, Dubreuill, DeHault DeLassus De Luzieres are names included in our shared lines. Other lines are Bayles (Bales), Asbridge, Roberts, LaPorte, Lalumondiere, LaChance, Cailott dit LaChance, Williams, and Casey. There are many others. We are of French and German descent (heavy on the French) but are trying to find that Scottish ancestor. We feel it in our blood! Many of our ancestors came from Belguim, France, and Germany and settled in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. Others we are not so sure about so we keep searching. That's what we do. It's our passion.
